Score Chasing - Breaking the Game
Pushing Dicevaders attack scores to Infinity and beyond: engine stacking, the community Infinity Challenge, Daily Challenge play and what "breaking the game" really means.
Quick Answer: How Do I Score Bigger?
Dicevaders is built for score chasing — the official framing is that you "stack combos until your attack score hits truly absurd numbers" and discover "a broken combo that launches your score into orbit." In practice: pick one engine (Mini Dice, Budge economy, Rift bursts, artifact levels), draft every piece that feeds it, and protect the column geometry that lets it compound. A run that does two things at 80% beats a run doing five things at 30%.
The Engine-Stacking Checklist
- One resource, maximized: Blob Girl's Mini Dice, The Captain's Budges, The Riftmaker's Chrono, The Exalted's artifact levels.
- Every kit piece that pays in your resource — The Core's Rib Cannon Budge refunds are a Captain piece wearing a Core hat.
- Column geometry locked: Oozone columns for Mini Dice, Wings of Fury columns for pairs, isolated columns for Lone Dragon.
- Value multipliers last: Slusho Max's +2 Mult per Mini Dice and Bunker's stockpile interest multiply an engine; they do not replace one.
Daily Challenges and Completionist Play
The demo's Daily Challenge mode is the developer-sanctioned score-chasing frame — it ran month-long key-giveaway contests during Next Fest. The demo patch notes also added a "completionist" mode to settings for players who want completion tracking. Post-launch, expect the challenge frame to continue; the score to beat is whatever the community posts that day.
The Honest Ceiling
Pre-launch, the highest publicly documented scores come from the demo era — Blob Girl Mini Dice boards and the Duchess Infinity Challenge entries. The full release adds The Overseer (two commanders' abilities and artifacts in one run) and two unnamed commanders, any of which could reset the ceiling the day the game ships. Treat every record as temporary, including the ones on this page.
