🎯 Dice Combos - Pairs, Triples & Quads

Dicevaders' official description says: "align your dice in pairs, triples or quadruple to ignite devastating combos." Combos are aligned dice — same-value dice placed together — and the combo ladder is the core scoring primitive every kit builds on. Effects that mention pairs (Wings of Fury, Rat Poison, Monocle), triples (Dark Tower, Divine Touch, Mass Relay) or quadruples (Dread Knot) all consume the same alignment system.

• Pairs — the bread and butter: The Mothership XP, Wings of Fury's +6 Multiplier and Rat Poison's Token scores all fire on pairs.
• Triples — the scaling tier: triples grant The Exalted's board-wide artifact XP and feed Dark Tower repeat-scores; Broken Lens upgrades your pairs into triples at the cost of cracked base dice.
• Quadruples — the burst tier: Dread Knot pays +150 STR to all units on any quadruple; quads are what a broken turn looks like.
• Rift faces — the wild card: The Riftmaker's Rift counts as extra dice across all columns, and a triple Rift face launch scores 20 random units.

The game gives you two resources to make alignment deliberate instead of lucky. Budges nudge your throw into the exact combo — the fine adjustment after the roll. Chrono rerolls dice and restocks the shop — the big correction when the roll is wrong. The spending order that works: Budge first (cheap, precise), Chrono second (expensive, transformative).

Dice are not just faces — they carry power. Oozone adds +1 Dicepower to Mini Dice scoring in its column, Lone Dragon gives the Kraken die +2 Dicepower alone in its column, Rift Nova gives the Rift +4, and Blob Cutter trades roll range (1-2-3 only) for +1 Dicepower on all Mini Dice. A combo's value is its alignment times the Dicepower behind it — the same pair scores very differently at Dicepower 3 and Dicepower 6.
